Dynomotive Built – LS3 Stroker 427 cubic inch

Dynomotive Built LS3 Stroker 427 cubic inch, is a long engine made right here in Australia by Team Dynomotive.

In the same way as we deepen the cylinder bore we also increasing the stroke and displacement.  This can be seen in the diagram below where the piston does down further onto the shaft.

By increasing the stroke it boosts the overall power of the combustion cycle.  Consequently delivering more energy to the crankshaft.  Hence resulting in more torque being delivered to the transmission and the vehicle’s wheels.

Our Dynomotive Built – LS3 Stroker 427 cubic inch consists of:

• 4.070” bore x 4.150” stroke
• 4340 forged steel crankshaft
• forged “H” beam con rods
• custom CP pistons
• CNC ported heads
• BTR shaft rocker conversion and much more.

An increase in horsepower and torque is the result of stroking the pistons, it is possible to achieve 500 in both horse power and torque.

• In very simple terms, torque is the force you feel pushing you back in your seat on acceleration, while horsepower is the speed achieved at the end of that acceleration
