Toyota 1KD injectors are suitable for the Hilux, Prado or Fortuner 2005 – 2015. In effect, the valves will open and close ensuring the fuel is sprayed into the the manifold intake at a very precise angle.

Diesel fuel injectors have a short lifespan, thus needing to be replaced more frequently to maintain optimal performance. It is expected that a good quality diesel fuel injector will last approximately 150,000 kilometres.
To explain, early detection of problems will ensure fuel injectors can be cleaned, repaired and reused. However, once they have reached their end of life, there’s no option but to replace them.
